My shrine all about Splatoon.

Splatoon as a series holds a very special place in my heart. Back in 2015 when it was first announced I was still but a teenager when I saw an ad for the first game, that headache of a song is still stuck in my mind even now.

Everything about it looked amazing, the art style felt fresh with how it leaned heavily into a modern-day urban aesthetic and the gameplay looked like an interesting spin on a standard team shooter game.

When I eventually got it after a week of begging my mom to take me to go buy the game she had already got it for me as an early birthday present. Seeing it boot up for the first time was nothing short of life changing.
